Bio.
My name is Jason Wright I am a recent graduate (B.A.) of the theatre program at the university of New Hampshire. I consider myself to be a very well rounded theatre person. I was a technical assistant at the university, allowing me to run several shows and deal with all aspects of construction, design, and production. I am also a well-rounded performer. I am a three-year veteran performer and director of an improv comedy troupe called TheatreSports. I have a four plus octave range, tenor voice. I have Shakespearean experience and training, and I am playing Bottom in a production of A Mid Summer Night’s Dream that is touring to Korea this spring. I have jazz and tap training. My areas of expertise are comedy, musical comedy, and straight drama. In the technical side of theatre my areas of expertise are woodworking, rigging, scene design, and lighting. I am the A.T.D. (assistant technical director) at Lakes Region Summer Theatre this coming summer and look forward to expanding more into the technical side of theatre.
